Today I snagged myself a new Nabaztag Bunny. His name is Spazz so anyone else with a bunny, quickly go look me up as a friend. This little guy can do a lot of cool things, he has been giving me email alerts and keeping me updated on news articles all night. Setup was pretty simple but I did run into one snag. I have a WEP protected Airport here in my room, so when the bunny started searching around ofcourse he needed a password to get going. Its pretty simple to put him into what I would call “broadcast” mode. This creates a wireless access point called “nabaztagXX” where XX will be the last numbers of your MAC address. Connect a computer to the bunny and hit “192.168.0.1″ enter in your wireless info, and scroll way down to the bottom to the “Violet Platform” change this to “193.149.120.33/vl”. I am not sure why the airport needed me to switch to this, maybe a DNS issue I am not sure.

Regardless he is up and running now, I really got interested when I saw this AIR application to control your Nabaztag Bunny. There are a lot of other cool apps, widgets, and games out there. So I recommend checking one out if you get a chance!

Looks cool. I wonder if I bought one if I’d actually use it. Fortunately no WiFi at home makes this something I don’t have to worry about. The Violet website is pretty cool too. Even if the product isn’t great, the marketing has won me over LOL.

rawssrawss: @lordB8r Yes... it seems this is just the nature of interfaces. Crap, I wanted to describe multiple classes with one interface.
